The Raven Fairfield Thanksgiving Day Feast was a hit with the people of Fairfield. We fed around 160 meals. We had a great time cooking Turkey and all the fixins at First Baptist Church Fairfield. They were gracious to allow us to use their facility and we thank them. We also want to thank River of Life Family Fellowship for purchasing the food for Raven Fairfield to serve and deliver. There were people young and old being served and loved on. Many thanks to everyone who gave their time and energy on Thursday to help prepare, serve, deliver, and clean up.
God is so good. We had served and delivered most of the food and it was nearly time to clean up and go home. Meredith and Craig Schuman made a stop by a lady's house to see if they had Thanksgiving dinner to find out that the lady had died the night before. They were able to pray with and minister to the family. We then gathered up all the left over food and took it to their house to feed the family as they were beginning to arrive to grieve the loss of their beloved family member. The family was very grateful and we were blessed to be able to help them.
Our endeavor reminded me of how we will feast in heaven. Two churches of different denominations and Raven Fairfield teamed up with people cooking and serving and cleaning whose goal was to serve God and obey His commandments regardless of doctrine. And we were all blessed. We pray that we were able to bring joy and happiness to the people of Fairfield on Thursday. Thank you Lord for supplying us with a means to serve you. You are awesome!

Yesterday we took 300 lunches, 14 cases of water, bedding, personal items, and clothing to give to the homeless population of Dallas. These people live on the concrete sidewalks surrounding a few shelters in downtown Dallas. They are cold, hungry, and hurt.

9 people received salvation, several more rededicated their lives to Christ and many were prayed for and just loved on. These people are hurting and lost in a world that leaves them behind. But we are not of the world and we won't leave them behind.

Isaiah 61 tells us that we are anointed to feed them, tell them about Jesus, heal their hurts, give them beauty for ashes, and set the captives free. Guys, these people are exactly who Jesus was talking about. In Luke 4:18-21 Jesus proclaimed His intention publicly to care for, love, and minister to the poor. We have to continue this ministry for Him. It is our duty to Him and to the Cross. He has anointed us, all of us, to continue His ministry until He comes riding through the clouds at the trumpet's call!!!!!

I think we should proclaim Isaiah 61 publicly in our churches, just like Jesus did in the temple, and make it our life's passion to lay down our life and pick up His cross and follow Him. Won't you join with us and make His Gospel the most important thing in your life and the lives of as many as you can tell? You are anointed.....preach it loud and don't stop until you see Him coming for you. God bless you.

This is the Raven Fairfield Group that went to Dallas, TX on Saturday. We took a load of goods to refugees that are staying in Dallas. A local Dallas church received them and sorted them for the refugees. Thank you Lord Jesus for the opportunity to share your love with this group of refugees.

After we unloaded the paper goods, diapers, and household items, we went to downtown Dallas and gave out 100 sack lunches to the homeless. We were blessed to be able to pray with many and share the hope and love of the Gospel with them. We give all the glory to our Savior and pray continually for the homeless population of Dallas, TX. God help us to know how we can continue to bless them.

Raven Fairfield plans to go back to Dallas in early November to hand out pillows, blankets, and coats. These people are sleeping on cardboard boxes on the hard cement and sidewalks of the city. Prayerfully consider coming with us to bless the homeless of Dallas with a softer place to lay their head and a warm blanket to help them fight the cold nights they face as the winter comes upon them.

What has YOUR Church Become?

"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen. Timothy, my son, I give you this instruction in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by following them you may fight the good fight, holding on to faith and a good conscience. Some have rejected these and so have shipwrecked their faith." 1 Timothy 1:17-19

POURING OUT THE LOVE OF JESUS
